Home Information

As the design of this Desert Modern home began, the items that were top of mind were
the panoramic views and challenging build site. The builder and owner wanted the home
to flow seamlessly into the views and landscape. As you walk in the home you will notice
the 75-foot stone anchor wall. You may also notice angle of the beams on the celling and
as you continue through the home in almost an optical illusion the beams seem to turn
so they are in line with the back wall of the home. The kitchen, living room and master
bedroom are situated to take full advantage of the sweeping views. Expansive sliding doors
across the back of the home allow the interior of the home to interact with the exterior in a
way that unifies the two spaces and actually extends the living space.

We do this to maintain quality control and timeliness of our projects.
Michael Maves purchased Maves Construction from his father over 17 years ago and has
been growing the company ever since. Michael has been on Maves job sites since he was a
kid and also worked for several different skilled trades. Those years of hands-on experience
helped him develop a better understanding of how projects come together, the importance of
building a great team and how the smallest details make a big difference. Michael has served
the HBA in the past as a local board member, Local President and past CAHB State Director and
currently serves on the National level as a NAHB Board Member.
